Surface dyeing of nylon

Abstract: Nylon with OH groups in the side chain can be dyed on the surface. The quality of the fiber is affected by choice of the dye and the method used in dyeing. Nylon made by polycondensation of 11-ethanolaminohendecanoic acid is fusible, can be dyed and made into the fibers.
