Abstract: A computer-based control of a laboratory tank system is described. Model Reference Adaptive Control (MRAC) is one of many approaches to adaptive control. The advantage is that the MRAC is the adaptive control without an identification "on-line". The behaviour of unknown plant is prescribed by the behaviour of the reference model. MRAC is used to control a first-order system and higher-order systems, respectively.
